Walker Communications' Molly Walker receives honorable mention as 2010 Chapter Leader of the Year in the IABC Chapter Management Awards program, announced at the organization's Leadership Institute held in San Diego in late January. "IABC's chapter management awards recognize the excellent work that volunteer leaders do in delivering content and networking opportunities to IABC members at the local level," said IABC President Julie Freeman, ABC, APR.

Walker Communications principal Molly Walker receives a bouquet of flowers from Bill Harlan, Diablo Valley College instructor emeritus, at the book launch event in appreciation of Molly's role in editing the book, Sharing Memories: Contra Costa Community College District, 1948-2008. The new book features an eclectic collection of stories covering the past 60 years by community college district directors, administrators, faculty and students. The heartfelt narratives were gathered and edited by Bill Harlan. The book was designed by Joan Olson and printed by Global Interprint, and is available at Diablo Valley College, Contra Costa College and Los Medanos College book stores.
